Simon began his career in the investment industry in the mid 1980’s where he developed a wealth of knowledge on all financial matters and in 1991 he joined a well-known local Independent Financial Advisory firm where he advised a range of clients including family business’s, entrepreneurs and trustees.
Simon then worked in The City of London with a leading firm of stockbrokers and subsequently established Montpellier Asset Management in both Cheltenham and London to cater for his clients needs. Simon specialises in managing clients investments and has many years experience in structuring client portfolios in a tax efficient manner.
Charlotte has over 10 years experience in the Wealth Management Sector and provides investment and trust planning to high net worth clients, business owners, entrepreneurs and trustees.
Charlotte has a love of classical music and earned her degree and Masters in Music from The Royal Holloway, University of London.
Mike started his financial planning career in 2001 and since then he has gained experience in all areas of financial advice. After successful periods with a major Insurance Company and a High Street Bank, he spent a number of years building his own IFA business before joining Montpellier Asset Management in 2017 where he concentrates on Pension Planning and Tax Efficient Investment advice.
Before coming into this profession Mike enjoyed a career as a General Manager in high street retailing which provided him with considerable knowledge and understanding of people, personalities and effective communication.
James is a fully trained mortgage adviser with over 20 years' experience. He can assist with residential, investment, Buy to Let and ex patriate mortgages.
James can also assist with all aspects with commercial finance and personal loans and has access to the whole of market for the most suitable and attractive options.
Executive Paraplanner Cert PFS
Deborah began her career as a financial consultant with a leading insurance company in 1988, after studying Business and Finance at college. As well as helping both individuals and businesses to successfully plan their tax efficient financial strategies, she has extensive knowledge of investments, insurance and pensions with 16 years independent advisory experience.
Deborah has also developed strong research and administrative skills and will be providing a streamlined service for clients at Montpellier as Executive Paraplanner.
Gemma began her career as a payroll consultant with a leading retailer after studying Law, English and Psychology at A Level. She then moved into an administration role with a reputable local financial services company where she gained valuable knowledge and skills. She has now joined Montpellier as a trainee paraplanner as part of the growing research team.
Virginia began her career in financial services with a major building society in 1982 and then continued with financial planning at a local reputable accountancy practice. Virginia’s role with Montpellier involves reinforcing the administrative function to continue to offer an effective streamlined and friendly service to all our clients.
Client Liaison Manager
Peter operates mainly from our London office and has been in the field of Financial Services for over 26 years, initially in an advisory capacity but more recently as a marketing consultant for the promotion of financial instruments to institutions and wealth managers.
For our London and Home Counties clients Peter is one of the first people that you will meet at Montpellier and he is responsible for explaining to clients how our service proposition works and importantly how the gathering of client information helps smooth the financial planning process.
Elizabeth has over 20 years experience in professional services, having previously worked for some of the UKs leading companies including Chancellors and Chesterton Humberts in the Herefordshire / Gloucestershire area.
Elizabeth has previously held various roles, ranging from farm administrator to marketing manager and also sales negotiator. Elizabeth will be providing administrative support to Simon and Deborah along with managing the company accounts.
